The Andy Warhol Museum has promoted Dan Law to associate director. Law assumed his role earlier in 2023.

In his role as associate director, Law manages The Pop District initiative. As part of the senior leadership team at the museum, he oversees museum business, management, fundraising, strategy and operations.

“I started at The Warhol in 2018, and the team and people here immediately accepted me and shared in my excitement about new possibilities for the museum,” said Law. “Since then, I’ve had the privilege of designing and launching The Pop District, and now we have the opportunity to advance the project to its full potential.”

Before being promoted to associate director, Law assumed roles including associate vice president, capital projects & major gifts; senior director, capital development & strategy; and director of advancement for The Warhol.

Previous to his work at The Warhol, Law was the business director & executive producer for Ascender and the Thrival Festival and a program officer for the World Affairs Council.

Law holds a Master of public and international affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also the chairman of the board and co-founder of the Partnership to Advance Responsible Technology (P.A.R.T.); co-founder of Postindustrial Media; and was previously on the board of the Women & Girls Foundation.

“Dan Law’s vision and passion for The Warhol’s signature new project, The Pop District, has taken the initiative from concept to reality,” said Patrick Moore, director of The Warhol. “I’m delighted that Dan will be overseeing all aspects of The Pop District as a member of the museum’s senior management and ensuring that this groundbreaking initiative continues to define the sustainable future of The Warhol.”

The Warhol receives state arts funding support through a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency; and The Heinz Endowments. Further support is provided by the Allegheny Regional Asset District.
