The Andy Warhol Museum announces Citizens as a presenting sponsor of its Sound Series for the 2024 season.

“I’m so pleased to have the support of Citizens as a presenting sponsor for our Sound Series, as we build on our long history of presenting musicians and performing artists from around the world in our unique museum spaces, while contributing to the arts ecosystem of Pittsburgh,” said Ben Harrison, senior director of performing arts and programming.

The Warhol Sound Series features a broad range of artists and bands from around the world that blur genres of contemporary independent music. These live music performances challenge conventional perceptions of art and provide audiences with diverse performance experiences.

The Sound Series is inspired by Andy Warhol’s extensive involvement in music as an album cover designer, manager of the Velvet Underground and record producer, with connections to bands such as the Rolling Stones, Blondie and The Cars.
