The Andy Warhol Museum announces that the KAWS + Warhol UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) collection produced under license with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, is available at The Warhol Store, marking the first time UNIQLO products are being sold at a physical location in Pittsburgh.

UNIQLO—the presenting sponsor for the global run of the exhibition KAWS + Warhol, on view through January 20, 2025 at The Warhol—will offer a new collection of products featuring artworks by Andy Warhol and KAWS at UNIQLO stores around the world and online, with a selection of products made easily accessible to Pittsburgh customers at The Warhol Store. This new line, produced in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, socks and more, and is available now at The Warhol Store or online at warhol.org/the-warhol-store.

“The Warhol Store is excited to bring UNIQLO’s coveted apparel brand closer to the people of Pittsburgh with this exciting product line,” said Paul Matarrese, museum store manager. “UNIQLO’s broad commercial reach uniquely compliments the KAWS + Warhol exhibition, as both artists have disrupted the traditional boundaries between commercial and fine art as an integral part of their work. Proceeds from purchases through The Warhol Store benefit the museum and its community programs.”

Andy Warhol’s art first appeared on UNIQLO products in 2004 under license with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and has been continuously featured on T-shirts and other products ever since. KAWS first collaborated with UT in 2016 and has had collaboration collections with the brand of graphic T-shirts ever since.
